Every server here is leased from G-Portal, and every one of them costs real money every single month. Nobody makes a penny on PixelMonsters — there's no ads, no premium perks, no pay-to-win nonsense, and donating gets you exactly the same experience as everyone else.

These servers stay up as long as they're covered.

That's the whole deal. Below is what each one actually costs and how much has come in this month, so you can see exactly where things stand instead of taking our word for it.

These servers are built and ready — they go live within 24 hours of their first month being covered. If we ever can't launch a server that got funded, that month's activation donations are refunded.

How much?

Anything from $3 to $500. Card fees eat a flat 30¢ plus 2.9%, which is why we start at $3.

The honest small print

  • We may retire a server at any time, and a server being funded doesn't guarantee it stays up forever — games get abandoned and communities move on.
  • Anything given beyond a server's monthly cost goes toward the other servers and the next month's bills.
