PixelMonsters

Privacy Policy

Effective July 11, 2026

PixelMonsters (https://pixelmonsters.com) is a small community website. We collect as little as possible, and here is all of it, in plain English.

What we collect

  • Basic analytics. When you visit a page, we record the page path, the referring site, your browser's user-agent string, an anonymous session identifier, your IP address, and your country. We use this to understand what people read and to spot abuse. We also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which collect similar anonymous performance data.
  • PixelBot conversations. Questions you ask our AI assistant — and its answers — are stored along with your IP address so we can review quality and stop abuse. Questions are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate answers. Don't put personal information in a chat with a cartoon monster.
  • Bot checks. Some forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out. Cloudflare processes technical browser data to make that decision.

What we don't do

  • No accounts, no passwords, no profiles for visitors.
  • No advertising, no selling or sharing data with data brokers.
  • No third-party tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served from our own site.

Service providers

The site runs on Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Anthropic (AI answers), and Cloudflare (bot protection). Each processes data only to provide those services.

Retention & your choices

Analytics and chat logs are kept while they're useful for running the site, then cleaned up. If you'd like something you typed removed, email hello@pixelmonsters.com and we'll take care of it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
