Terms of Service

The site

PixelMonsters is a hobby community site. It shows the status of game servers we lease, posts updates, and offers an AI helper. It's provided as-is — we do our best to keep everything accurate and online, but we make no guarantees, and we're not liable for decisions made based on what a friendly cartoon monster told you.

The servers

• Playing on our game servers is a privilege, not a right. Be kind.
• No cheating, exploiting, griefing, harassment, or hate. We ban for it, without refunds of anything, because everything here is free.
• Servers may be wiped, reconfigured, or retired — we announce changes on the updates page when we can.

PixelBot

PixelBot answers from the updates we post and live server status. It tries hard, but it can be wrong. Don't use it to abuse the service, generate spam, or ask about anything unrelated to our servers. Conversations are logged (see the Privacy Policy).

Donations

Donations help cover what our leased game servers cost each month. Please read this bit before you give us money:

• A donation is a voluntary gift, not a purchase or a subscription. It buys no goods, services, perks, ranks, priority, or special treatment of any kind, and donors are governed by exactly the same rules as everyone else.
• We are not a registered charity, and donations are not tax-deductible.
• Donations are non-refundable. If something has genuinely gone wrong — a duplicate charge, a child using a parent's card, an amount typed wrong — email us and we'll sort it out.
• Donating does not guarantee that a server stays online, for any period. We may change, pause, or retire any server at any time, including one that is fully funded — games get abandoned and communities move on.
• Money given beyond a server's monthly cost goes toward our other servers and future months' costs. We don't hold donations in trust or ring-fence them per server.
• Some servers are shown as “waiting to launch”: we aim to bring one online within 24 hours of its first month being covered. This is the one exception to the no-refunds rule — if we can't launch a server that got funded, we'll refund that month's activation donations for it.
• Payments are processed by Stripe, who handle your card details — we never see or store them. Your card statement will show PIXELMONSTERS.
• Only donate money that is yours to give. If you're under 18, ask whoever owns the card first.

Community forum

• Adults only — you must be 18 or older to create an account or participate. Creating an account is your confirmation that you are at least 18. We do not knowingly allow minors; any account we learn belongs to someone under 18 is removed.
• Be decent. No harassment, hate, spam, sexual content, doxxing, cheating tools, or anything illegal. We remove content and ban accounts at our sole discretion — this is our living room.
• Your posts stay yours, but by posting you let us display, store, and moderate them here. Everything on the forum is public.
• PixelBot, our AI helper, posts on the forum too. It is always labeled with its bot badge and never pretends to be a human member. AI answers can be wrong — an update post or a human admin outranks the bot.
• Accounts have no email attached, so guard your password — if you lose it, reach us via the Contact page and a human will verify and help.

Intellectual property

Game titles and trademarks belong to their respective publishers — we aren't affiliated with or endorsed by them; we just lease servers that run their games. The monster artwork and site content are ours.
